Terms of Service

These terms are a practical V1 for the hosted GPTSee product. They are not legal advice and should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before a public paid launch, enterprise sale, or material change to data handling.

1. What GPTSee Does

GPTSee lets you submit a public URL so the service can fetch static HTML, inspect parser metadata, and show readable output, source output, markdown-style output, and related diagnostics. GPTSee does not execute JavaScript for V1 parsing and does not claim to reproduce any private, proprietary, or exact behavior of OpenAI, ChatGPT, Anthropic, Google, or any other third-party system.

2. Your Responsibility For Submitted URLs

You are responsible for the URLs you submit and for your use of any results. Do not submit URLs in a way that violates another site's terms, attempts to access non-public information, bypasses access controls, or creates excessive traffic for a target site. You should only submit URLs that are public or that you are authorized to inspect.

3. Fetching, Robots, And Safety Controls

GPTSee identifies fetches as GPTSee and evaluates target-site robots.txt rules for ChatGPT-User. If a URL is blocked for that user agent, GPTSee should stop and return a blocked state. GPTSee may also reject or stop requests because of redirects, login flows, unsupported content types, private or reserved network addresses, size limits, rate limits, timeout limits, abuse signals, or operational risk.

4. Accounts, Plans, And Billing

Some features may require an account or a paid plan. If paid billing is enabled, payments are processed by Stripe and subject to Stripe's own terms. Prices, limits, and feature access may change, but material paid-plan changes should be communicated in a reasonable way.

5. Output Is Informational

GPTSee output is an analytical aid for marketers, SEOs, developers, and website owners. It may be incomplete, incorrect, or different from how any AI system, search engine, browser, crawler, or user actually interprets a page. You should not rely on GPTSee as legal, security, financial, medical, compliance, or professional advice.

6. Acceptable Use

Your use of GPTSee must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. We may block, rate-limit, suspend, or terminate access when use appears abusive, unsafe, unlawful, or harmful to GPTSee, target sites, other users, or infrastructure providers.

7. Intellectual Property

GPTSee and its application code, design, branding, copy, and product experience are owned by GPTSee or its licensors unless a separate written license says otherwise. You keep any rights you already have in URLs, page content, or materials you submit. You grant GPTSee the limited right to fetch, process, store, display, and transmit submitted material as needed to provide the service, support sharing features, prevent abuse, and operate the product.

8. Third-Party Services

GPTSee may use infrastructure and service providers such as Vercel, Upstash, Supabase, Stripe, Resend, Cloudflare, and Google analytics or tag tools. Those services may process data as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Non-Affiliation

GPTSee is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by OpenAI, ChatGPT, Anthropic, Google, or any model provider referenced in the product. Names of third-party products are used for descriptive comparison and compatibility context only.

10. Disclaimers And Limitation Of Liability

GPTSee is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GPTSee will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or third-party claims arising from use of the service.

11. Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. The effective date above should be updated when material changes are made.
