Legal V1
Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 28, 2026
This policy describes GPTSee's current V1 data handling. It should be reviewed by counsel before a public paid launch, enterprise use, or expansion into stored history, team accounts, API access, or new analytics.
1. Information We Collect
- Submitted URLs and normalized target hostnames.
- Fetch metadata, including requested URL, final URL, redirects, status code, content type, parser flags, and timing.
- Parsed output, including readable text, markdown lines, source HTML when stored in a result, references, diagnostics, and share snapshots.
- Account information, such as email address, name fields, plan, authentication identifiers, billing status, and gift or invite data.
- Technical and security data, such as IP address, user agent, rate-limit keys, request logs, error logs, abuse signals, cookies, and consent choices.
- Payment and subscription data processed through Stripe. GPTSee does not need to store full card numbers.
- Analytics data from tools such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Cloudflare Web Analytics when enabled and permitted.
2. How We Use Information
- To fetch and parse submitted URLs and return the requested result.
- To operate accounts, billing, quotas, sharing, gifts, admin views, support, and product email.
- To enforce robots checks, rate limits, abuse controls, security rules, and SSRF protections.
- To debug parser behavior, investigate failed requests, improve output quality, and understand product usage.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect GPTSee, users, target sites, and infrastructure providers.
3. Submitted URLs And Page Content
Submitted URLs may identify a site, page path, campaign, document, customer, or other context. Parsed results may include text, links, image alt text, footer copy, legal copy, hidden static HTML content, and source HTML from the target page. Do not submit confidential, private, authenticated, or sensitive URLs unless you are comfortable with that data being processed by GPTSee and its providers.
4. Sharing And Retention
If you create a share link, GPTSee stores a snapshot of the parse result so the share page can render later. Current V1 behavior may use expiring share links for non-Pro results and longer or permanent share links for Pro results. Operational logs and rate-limit data may be kept for a limited period needed for security, debugging, analytics, and abuse prevention.
5. Cookies And Analytics
GPTSee may use essential cookies for authentication, sessions, consent, account features, and security. Analytics or marketing cookies should only run where configured and permitted by the consent flow. You can use the footer cookie settings control where it is shown.
6. Service Providers
GPTSee may share information with providers that help run the product, including hosting, serverless functions, storage, authentication, database services, rate limiting, email, billing, analytics, logging, and security. Current or expected providers include Vercel, Upstash, Supabase, Stripe, Resend, Cloudflare, and Google.
7. Legal Bases And International Processing
Depending on your location, GPTSee may process information to perform a contract, pursue legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, comply with legal obligations, or use consent where required for analytics and cookies. Providers may process data in countries other than your own.
8. Your Choices
You can choose not to submit a URL, not to create an account, not to create share links, or not to upgrade to a paid plan. You can also request access, correction, deletion, or export of account-related personal information by contacting us. Some data may need to be retained where required for billing, security, legal, or abuse-prevention purposes.
9. Security
GPTSee uses practical safeguards such as protocol restrictions, DNS and private-network checks, byte caps, timeouts, robots checks, rate limits, authentication controls, and provider security features. No online service can guarantee perfect security.
10. Children
GPTSee is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children.
